REUSE (LAW #5): mimalloc `0.1` compiles the v3 C sources, and v3 raised `purge_delay` from 10 ms to 1000 ms — at which point RSS is not memory in use but the running MAXIMUM of every transient the process ever built. MEASURED: a 2 GB transient dropped at the shipped default returned 0 bytes; at 10 ms it returned all but 156 MB. Every fat nordisk binary (dwarves-server, nornir-server, korp-server, holger, gunnar-service) wants this, and until now exactly one of them had it.","version":"0.1.0","softwareVersion":"0.1.0","license":["https://spdx.org/licenses/MIT","https://spdx.org/licenses/Apache-2.0"],"codeRepository":"https://codeberg.org/nordisk/edda","keywords":["memory","rss","allocator","mimalloc","oom"],"maintainer":[{"@type":"Person","name":"Ignalina","url":"https://github.com/Ignalina"}],"author":[{"@type":"Person","name":"Ignalina","url":"https://github.com/Ignalina"}],"copyrightHolder":[{"@type":"Person","name":"Ignalina","url":"https://github.com/Ignalina"}],"dateCreated":"2026-09-02","dateModified":"2026-09-02","datePublished":"2026-09-02","copyrightYear":2026,"downloadUrl":"https://static.crates.io/crates/nordisk-alloc/nordisk-alloc-0.1.0.crate","softwareHelp":{"@type":"WebSite","url":"https://docs.rs/nordisk-alloc/"},"applicationCategory":"cargo","runtimePlatform":"cargo","sameAs":["https://crates.io/crates/nordisk-alloc/"]}
