anaconda.org : ndg-httpsclient
A HTTPS client implementation for httplib, http.client and urllib2 based on PyOpenSSL. PyOpenSSL provides a more fully featured SSL implementation over the default provided with Python and importantly enables full verification of the SSL peer.
