The SmartZone™ ICR component contains all the necessary objects, methods, and properties it takes for you to perform high accuracy zonal and full page ICR recognition. SmartZone ICR supports 11 languages and 1 region, which includes Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, and combined Western European languages. SmartZone ICR requires you to also install the Accusoft.SmartZone.Runtime which has several packages for your convenience, and must be added separately. Some of SmartZone ICR's features include: * ICR (Intelligent Character Recognition or Image Character Recognition) of hand-printed characters of supported languages in a zone on an image. * Ability to specify expected recognition results by specifying: * a FieldType such as date, time, and many others, * a regular expression, or * potential contents in a DataValidationList such as a list of possible account or customer numbers. * Ability to specify the rejection character when recognition of a character fails. * Ability to specify the confidence level at which the rejection character is used. * Ability to report multiple character results and associated confidence values. * Ability to select the expected language(s) being recognized. * Ability to select predefined CharacterSets for text recognition. * Ability to limit character sets for recognition to custom defined subsets of supported characters. * Support for streaming to allow communication with other Accusoft components including FormFix, FormDirector and ScanFix Xpress components.
