The Kafka Proxy provides secure access to your Kafka without having to deal with SASL/PLAIN and SASL/OAUTHBEARER authentications and SSL certificates. The proxies can authenticate each other using a pluggable method like JWT. The proxy also allows you to connect to Kafka through SOCKS Proxy and HTTP Proxy or to private Kafka running in Kubernetes.
